The responsibilities include:
- Providing effective and efficient financial administrative support to the Building and Technical Services Division.
- Administering materials contracts and ensuring all invoices are paid and materials purchased in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Finance Supervisor by following the Councils Financial Regulations and Procurement procedures.
- Contributing to the achievement of the wider Housing Landlord aims and operational objectives.
- Processing purchase orders to meet service requirements.
- Processing invoices for payment and raising invoices for collection of income from work in progress and completed jobs.
- Updating records and providing management with statistical and general ledger information.
- Purchasing non-standard materials while ensuring best value for money and adherence to Procurement rules.
- Providing advice and guidance to all teams regarding purchasing queries.
- Following defined administrative procedures related to purchasing, invoicing, and Good Received Notes.
- Maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with Financial Audit regulations.
- Processing consolidated invoicing accurately and efficiently.
