Daniel Owen is recruiting a Team Supervisor (Operations) to lead and coordinate responsive repairs and maintenance teams within Housing & Technical Services. You will ensure works are completed safely, on time and to high standards, with a focus on quality, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview

Lead and organise maintenance operations, supervise craft/trade staff and contractors, and ensure responsive repairs are delivered within contractual requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily team operations and workload planning
  • Allocate work and monitor performance to meet targets and service levels
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks
  • Oversee materials, time sheets and reporting
  • Provide guidance to contractors and team members
  • Identify defects and recommend corrective actions

Requirements

  • Experience supervising maintenance or trades teams
  • Good planning, organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving ability
  • Competent IT skills
  • Knowledge of building standards and health & safety
  • willingness to travel, attend meetings and work outside normal hours if needed

Desirable

  • Building trade qualification or equivalent experience
