Key Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager

  • Lead Management
    • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries generated via marketing channels (Google Ads, website, referrals).
    • Qualify leads efficiently and professionally to assess project viability.
    • Carry out outbound B2B cold calling where required (developers, landlords, commercial clients).
  • Client Meetings & Engagement
    • Meet clients at their property or at the office to discuss project requirements.
    • Understand client objectives, budgets, and timelines.
    • Attend site visits to assess scope and support accurate pricing.
  • Quoting & Sales Process
    • Prepare and present project quotations (full training provided).
    • Clearly explain scope of works, programmes, and payment structures.
    • Follow up quotations and manage negotiations where appropriate.
    • Close sales and secure signed contracts.
  • Contracts & Project Handover
    • Create and agree payment plans once projects are confirmed.
    • Issue contracts and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
    • Secure initial deposits in line with company policy.
    • Allocate projects to the appropriate contractor or delivery team.
    • Ensure a smooth and professional handover to the operations team.
  • Working Style & Administration
    • Office-based for administration, quoting, and follow-ups.
    • Remote and site-based work when meeting clients.
