Role Overview
Our partner is a serviced office provider that owns, operates, and invests in premium commercial office space. The business acquires assets, converts them into high-quality work environments, and actively manages them through structured refurbishment and redevelopment cycles.
We are seeking a junior-to-mid level Project Manager with a construction industry background who has progressed from a site-based role into project coordination or management. This role is suited to an individual who is adaptable, commercially aware, and motivated to develop into full project ownership as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and progressively lead construction and refurbishment projects across the portfolio
- Manage office fit-outs, planned redecorations, refurbishments, and major asset revamps
- Coordinate internal delivery teams and external contractors
- Support procurement, tendering, and contractor selection
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and variation management
- Maintain project documentation, programmes, and reporting
- Coordinate works within occupied buildings to minimise disruption
- Escalate risks and issues to the Project Director as required
Person Specification
- 5-6 years' experience within the construction industry
- Background including on-site delivery roles (e.g. foreman or site supervisor)
- Experience supporting or managing construction or refurbishment projects
- Understanding of commercial construction environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience in office fit-outs or refurbishments
- Experience working in occupied buildings
- Exposure to managing multiple contractors
