We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrician to join the responsive repairs team at an award-winning housing association. You will be responsible for completing repairs in customers' homes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in occupied social housing properties including lighting, power circuits, consumer units and electrical appliances ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards.
- Conduct electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) to assess the safety and condition of electrical installations in residential properties.
- Carry out PAT testing on electrical appliances and equipment to ensure safety and provide necessary certifications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently minimising disruption to tenants, maintaining high service standards.
- Install and upgrade electrical systems, including consumer units, lighting circuits and smoke alarms, ensuring safety and compliance with housing standards.
- Perform routine electrical maintenance across properties, including scheduled inspections and emergency repairs, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly and meet health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months).
- Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- 2391 testing and Inspection.
- 18th edition.
Benefits:
