The successful candidate will:

  • Provide Quality Assurance / Clerk of Works services across various projects, including capital and cyclical works.
  • Establish joint quality control procedures with contractors and ensure their effectiveness through audits.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with contractor supervisory staff.
  • Review specifications and drawings, ensuring any issues are addressed.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor materials, standards, and practices, and prepare health and safety reports.
  • Inspect completed work for quality standards.
  • Prepare project specifications.
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.

Key Knowledge:

  • Experience in social housing, building contracting, and local authority projects.
  • Proficiency in IT and Excel.
