An established and growing property services contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support delivery across a portfolio of social housing refurbishment works in the South West. This is a hybrid role offering a mix of office, site, and home working, where you'll be given the autonomy to manage projects end-to-end while being part of a collaborative and supportive commercial team.

The Role

  • Responsible for the commercial management of planned refurbishment works (internal and external) within tenanted properties, including:
  • Managing costs across the full project lifecycle
  • Preparing estimates, tenders, and procurement programmes
  • Procuring and managing subcontractors
  • Producing cash flow forecasts and monthly valuations
  • Submitting applications for payment and managing invoicing
  • Monitoring budgets, variations, and contract performance
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and operational teams
  • Supporting junior team members where required

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and Measured Term Contracts
  • Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence required
