We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Joiner to work on void properties within a social housing contract. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of joinery and general building works to bring vacant properties up to a lettable standard, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery works within void social housing properties
- Undertake general multi-skilled tasks including repairs, replacements, and minor building works
- Install and repair doors, kitchens, flooring, skirting, architraves, and other timber components
- Ensure properties are completed to a lettable standard within agreed timescales
- Work in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Accurately complete job records and related paperwork
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in joinery and multi-trade works
- Experience working on void properties or within social housing (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
