We are currently looking for an experienced Taper & Jointer to join our team on a temporary contract. The role involves carrying out high-quality tape, jointing, and finishing works on a commercial project, ensuring a smooth finish ready for decoration.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying tape and jointing systems to plasterboard walls and ceilings
- Skimming and finishing joints to a high standard
- Sanding and preparing surfaces for final decoration
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Liaising with site supervisors and other trades where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Taper & Jointer on commercial projects
- Ability to deliver a high-quality finish with strong attention to detail
- Must have own sanding machine and dust extractor (essential)
- Valid CSCS card
- Own tools and PPE
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
