Are you a senior quantity surveyor that has reached a ceiling with your current employer? Are you looking for a fresh new challenge? We are working with a national house builder who are looking for a senior quantity surveyor to join their North East team, with projects from Northallerton up to Northumberland. You will be joining an already established team with a strong client base and plentiful pipeline, with projects being supported by assistant and trainee QS.
As senior quantity surveyor, you will:
- Manage and advise on the financial and contractual aspect of multiple, large scale projects
- Provide line management and support to assistant/trainee surveyors
- Manage CVRs
- Be a regular figure on site, growing client relationships with regular contract reviews
- Provide regular cost reports and manage subcontractor costs
As senior quantity surveyor, it is required that you:
- Hold a HNC/HND in quantity surveying or equivalent
- Have a proven record as a senior quantity surveyor within residential house building
- Have a methodical approach when it comes to contract negotiation and pricing
- Have previously managed/led a small team of assistant surveyors
As a senior quantity surveyor, you will receive:
- Up to £70,000 salary
- £5,500 car allowance or salary sacrifice scheme
- Discretionary bonus
