An outstanding opportunity for a Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor to join a respected, high profile Construction Consultancy in Birmingham. Our client is delivering a number of landmark schemes in the city centre, with some projects in the tens of millions in terms of project value.

This opportunity is with a high performing, multi-disciplinary Consultancy in Central Birmingham who can already boast a pretty impressive client list. About 70-75% of their work is repeat business and includes some outstanding and extremely high profile projects in Birmingham. Many of these are very substantial and furthermore are highly complex schemes. You could scarcely find a better range of projects to work on.

The culture is very client / service delivery focused with performance and dedication rewarded with 2 annual bonuses and the team regularly get involved in a number of company sponsored social functions, sporting events, even trips away. The teams can enjoy both the rewards of performing well on their work and the social element that comes with it. The leaders of the teams are also keen to promote an inclusive cross-disciplinary approach so that the teams work together to find a solution. This isn\’t a big corporate but a small independent practice, but they certainly punch above their weight and this has to be one of the most dynamic and highly achieving Construction Consultancies in the West Midlands.

We\’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with ambition, talent, drive to succeed and determination to progress both professionally and personally, and there are great rewards on offer to the right individual who ticks these boxes. Not least of which being the opportunity to work with a great team and to develop a new client. The successful candidate will be a professional Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in project delivery and someone comfortable in a client facing role. Ideally also MRICS qualified although the personal qualities and experience are of paramount importance.
