Portsmouth, Hampshire

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor construction organisation in Portsmouth. The organisation focuses mainly on delivering new build developments and highly complex refurbishments on both private and public sector projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Pricing and tender submissions.
  • Manage estimates and cost plans.
  • Handle valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Ensure projects remain commercially viable and delivered on time.

Role:

  • Mainly office based in Portsmouth, with occasional travel to site.
  • Quantity Surveyor background, ideally with a mixed sector construction company, which includes new build and refurbishments.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial management and tendering.
  • Ability to manage projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
