Job Title: Plumbing Supervisor (Social Housing)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation services within a social housing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation and play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality plumbing services for tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of plumbers and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance works across social housing properties.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

• Coordinate daily job allocations, ensuring timely completion of repairs and installations.

• Liaise with residents, housing officers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

• Provide technical support and hands-on assistance where necessary.

• Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant building regulations and water supply legislation.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and workforce performance.

• Assist with budget management, ordering materials, and maintaining stock levels.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent (desirable).

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the social housing sector.

• Strong technical knowledge of domestic plumbing systems, heating, and water supply.

• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Good understanding of health & safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
