Responsibilities:

  • Allocate and check the work of Pension Officers and Apprentices.
  • Perform a full range of calculation experience, cradle to grave.
  • Experience with Altair is desirable but not essential; relevant other pensions software experience is considered.

Role Overview:

  • Administer the Local Government Pension Scheme and related legislation.
  • Assist in developing statistical data using Altair, SAP reporting facilities, and other software provided by the Council.
  • Support maintenance of Altair security, housekeeping, and end-of-year procedures.
