We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join a dedicated property maintenance team for a social housing contractor in Oxford. In this role, you will provide high-quality carpentry and multi-trade services, helping to ensure homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing and door/window installations.
- Completing general maintenance work such as basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.
- Delivering both reactive and planned maintenance in occupied and void properties.
- Identifying issues on-site and implementing practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborating with team members, subcontractors, and housing officers to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Communicating professionally with tenants, ensuring minimal disruption during works.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Using a PDA to manage daily tasks, updates, and job completions.
