A well-established Plumbing and Heating provider in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join their growing team. They are looking for a highly skilled engineer with strong technical knowledge in servicing, repairing and maintaining domestic gas boilers and general plumbing and heating systems. This role supports the installation division by maintaining newly installed systems while also helping to build a long-term client base for ongoing maintenance and service work.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be a confident, technically capable engineer who can work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, performing routine maintenance and delivering high-quality service to clients across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

Key Duties

  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on plumbing and heating systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults including leaks, blockages and appliance issues
  • Install and service domestic appliances such as boilers, hot water cylinders and air source heat pumps
  • Provide expert advice to clients on system care and maintenance
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and material usage
  • Communicate professionally with clients, tenants and site managers
  • Work independently and collaboratively within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in heating system installation, maintenance or repair
  • NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Gas Safe registered
  • G3 Unvented qualification
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, reliable and punctual
  • Full UK driving licence
