Job Title: Multi-Trade Operative
Location: Nottingham and surrounding areas
Job Type: 7 months +

Daniel Owen is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor carrying out legal repairs on social housing properties within Nottingham. We are seeking experienced and professional Multi-Trade Operatives to join the team, working in a customer-facing role within occupied residential properties.
This is not your average construction role – our client places strong emphasis on quality, customer service, and professionalism. You\\\’ll be a key part of ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in their homes
- Carrying out a variety of remedial works to a high standard
- Diagnosing and fixing issues directly or coordinating with the office and specialist trades
- Ensuring work is completed promptly, professionally, and with minimal disruption
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Representing the company with courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a multi-trade role or general construction
- Strong background in one or more of the following:
- General building
- Carpentry
- Plaster patching
- Painting
- Ceramic tiling
- Heating & plumbing (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to problem-solve and work independently
- Reliable, well-presented, and respectful when working in occupied homes
