We are working on behalf of a local authority in Kensington and Chelsea, West London, seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade to join their housing estate maintenance team. This is a static role based on a single housing estate — all properties are within walking distance, so no van or fuel card is provided. A full, clean UK manual driving licence is required, as pool vans are available on-site for use during working hours.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking a wide range of carpentry and multi-trade works including, but not limited to, hanging doors and frames, fitting kitchens, structural flooring and finishes, fitting and replacing locks, fitting baths and basins, tiling, painting and decorating, etc.
- Using an electronic hand-held device to receive instructions, provide feedback electronically, and log details of works undertaken or to be undertaken.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Site Carpentry (desirable)
