Our client, a Hampshire-based heating and plumbing specialist, is looking to recruit a Gas Service and Maintenance Engineer to carry out boiler servicing and repairs in domestic properties as part of their expanding Home Aftercare Team.
As a mobile Service and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for breakdown, service and maintenance works across a range of domestic contracts from gas boilers, ASHP to general plumbing. You will ideally be at a commutable distance to their Eastleigh office and must hold up-to-date, valid domestic gas qualifications. Unvented hot water qualifications and ASHP qualifications would be an advantage.
Position Requirements- Based within commutable distance of Southampton
- Up to date domestic gas qualifications
- Unvented hot water qualifications
- ASHP qualifications an advantage but not essential as training can be given
- Must participate on the call out rota
- At least 2+ years working experience in a similar position
- Full UK Driving License
- £42,000 to £46,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Set bonus amount paid for the week on call, plus hours paid when called out
- Company van and fuel card provided for your work travel
- Phone, tablet, and workwear supplied
- Working hours 8am-5pm
- Opportunity for further training
