Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects, ensuring robust financial control and contractual compliance from inception through to completion. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing all key commercial aspects of the project while working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance
- Producing monthly valuations and commercial reports
- Leading on cost forecasting and financial analysis
- Managing variations, change control, and risk
- Maintaining risk and opportunity registers
- Administering JCT contracts
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
