Temporary Laundry Assistant – Sheffield (S4) Start Date: Monday 3rd November Duration: 2 weeks Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm Location: Sheffield, S4 We are looking for a Temporary Laundry Assistant to join our team in Sheffield for a 2-week assignment starting Monday 3rd November. Please note: You must hold a clean Enhanced DBS certificate. Unfortunately, we cannot process your application without this. Key Duties Include: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing laundry items Operating commercial washing and drying machines safely and efficiently Inspecting laundry for stains, damage, or repairs needed Ensuring correct labelling and handling of all laundry items Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy, and well-organised Following all hygiene and health & safety procedures Assisting with ad hoc cleaning duties when required Requirements: Enhanced DBS (clean) – essential Previous experience in laundry or cleaning preferred but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented This is a temporary 2-week position, perfect for someone seeking short-term work.
