Health & Safety Manager/Advisor (Civils) – Permanent
Covering Southampton & Surrounding Areas
60,000 – 75,000 + Company Vehicle
Full–Time Permanent
Our client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager or Advisor with a strong background in civils to join their established team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for overseeing approximately 14 live sites across Southampton and the surrounding areas, supporting site teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits
- Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation and company procedures
- Support site teams with risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks
- Promote a positive health & safety culture across all levels
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external bodies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within civils/construction is essential
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum)
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and H&S best practices
- Comfortable managing multiple sites
