We are currently recruiting for a Junior Quantity Surveyor / Contracts Manager to join a busy and established team working within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated QS professional looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quotations using Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes
- Organise and manage planned works through the Job Watch platform
- Monitor and check engineers' completed works for accuracy and compliance
- Work closely with planners and reactive managers to support smooth contract delivery
- Assist with cost control, reporting, and contract administration
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports using Excel
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management role
- Social housing experience is essential
- Strong working knowledge of SOR codes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Full UK driving licence
