About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Ganger to join our growing construction team in West Malling. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for supervising site operatives, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of site operatives
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
- Allocate tasks and manage workflow efficiently
- Liaise with site managers and other trades on-site
- Monitor quality of work and ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain site records, including timesheets and progress reports
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure team compliance with safety procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Ganger or in a similar supervisory role within construction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Valid Gold CSCS card (Required)
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (Required)
- Good understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret site drawings and plans
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
