The Opportunity

We're recruiting a Finance Assistant to join a small, friendly on-site team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a varied role combining finance and administration, where you'll play a key part in ensuring accurate reporting and smooth day-to-day financial operations across on-site services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile cash and prepare banking documentation for on-site retail units
  • Review cash payments and takings reports, completing weekly closures
  • Prepare and issue invoices for hospitality functions and service contracts
  • Process supplier invoices and support reconciliation activities
  • Validate patient meal data to ensure accurate billing
  • Support month-end activities including accruals and prepayments
  • Raise purchase orders and assist with operational purchasing requirements
  • Provide general finance and admin support as required by the wider team

What We're Looking For

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Excel skills (and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/PowerPoint)
