Qualified Electrician – Renewable Energy / Solar PV

You will play a key part in delivering renewable energy solutions, including solar PV systems, working across domestic and/or commercial sites.
Key responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission solar PV systems
Work confidently with AC/DC circuits, inverters, isolators, and remote monitoring systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
Diagnose faults and perform repairs or maintenance as needed
Ensure compliance with UK building regs and DNO (Distribution Network Operator) requirements
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, risk assessments, and RAMS
Report any unsafe appliances, installations, or practices
Operate tools and equipment safely and correctly
Travel regionally (or nationally if required)
Work occasional overtime or weekends when necessaryRequirements:
Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or hold appropriate full electrical qualifications (Essential)
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification (Essential)
ECS Gold Card (Essential)
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
