Job Title: Dryliner / Tape and Jointer Location: Central London Job Type: Full-time / Contract (Specify as needed) Start Date: ASAP Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Dryliner / Tape and Jointer to join on a high-profile construction project in Central London. This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople to work with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality finishes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Install metal stud partitions, wall linings, MF ceilings, and other drylining systems Measure and cut plasterboard to precise specifications Fix boards to metal or timber framework using screws, adhesives, or fixings Apply jointing systems (taping and jointing) to create smooth finishes ready for painting/decorating Sand joints to a high standard, ensuring a seamless surface Maintain cleanliness and safety of the working area Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure work is completed on time and to specification Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and site rules Requirements: Proven experience in drylining, taping and jointing Ability to read and interpret technical drawings CSCS card (essential) Own tools and PPE Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team Reliable and punctual Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or higher in Drylining or equivalent trade qualification Own transport (if commuting from outside Central London) Previous experience working on commercial or residential projects in London What We Offer: Ongoing work for the right candidate Competitive rates of pay Opportunity to work on prestigious projects in Central London Weekly pay Supportive site team and good working conditions
