About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to join a reputable social housing provider on a temporary basis. This hands-on role focuses on the inspection, treatment, and repair of damp and mould issues across occupied residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct damp and mould inspections in tenanted properties
  • Diagnose and treat damp, mould, and condensation issues
  • Carry out minor repairs including plastering, painting, and sealing
  • Apply anti-mould treatments and redecoration works
  • Liaise professionally with tenants and housing officers
  • Keep accurate records of works carried out
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in damp and mould remediation OR building maintenance
  • Background in painting & decorating, plastering or general property repair
  • Full UK Driving Licence (vehicle provided)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
