About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Operative to join a reputable social housing provider on a temporary basis. This hands-on role focuses on the inspection, treatment, and repair of damp and mould issues across occupied residential properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct damp and mould inspections in tenanted properties
- Diagnose and treat damp, mould, and condensation issues
- Carry out minor repairs including plastering, painting, and sealing
- Apply anti-mould treatments and redecoration works
- Liaise professionally with tenants and housing officers
- Keep accurate records of works carried out
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in damp and mould remediation OR building maintenance
- Background in painting & decorating, plastering or general property repair
- Full UK Driving Licence (vehicle provided)
- Good communication and customer service skills
