We are currently looking for a Damp and Mould Operative to join a dedicated team providing essential maintenance services across social housing properties in the South East London area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining healthy, safe, and well-kept homes for local residents.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and treating damp and mould issues across a range of residential properties.
- Carrying out inspections to assess the extent of damage and recommending effective solutions.
- Applying specialised mould treatments and ensuring correct ventilation solutions are installed.
- Repairing affected surfaces, including painting and decorating, to restore the property to a safe and habitable condition.
- Completing internal and external painting and decorating as part of the mould treatment and property maintenance process.
- Working alongside other maintenance teams to address underlying causes of damp, such as leaks or poor insulation.
