Are you an experienced grounds maintenance professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Team Leader to join our client's growing garden maintenance company, working across a range of residential sites, public parks, and commercial grounds in the Bristol area.
About the Role:
As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for supervising and working alongside a small team (2-3 operatives) to deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services. You'll take pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best year-round while ensuring your team operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading daily operations and motivating your team on-site
- Carrying out a wide variety of grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, planting, and general upkeep
- Monitoring job quality and ensuring work meets client expectations
- Liaising with management for scheduling, materials, and reporting
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in grounds or garden maintenance (essential)
- Team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Good communication skills and a can-do attitude
- PA1/PA6 and other relevant horticultural qualifications (desirable but not required)
