Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards using LHT management System Pro.
- Plan and carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO regulations.
- Identify improvement areas from compliance audits.
- Provide EHS expertise in risk assessments, training and project consultations.
- Oversee and maintain EHS procedures.
- Develop and track KPIs to align with business goals.
- Investigate EHS incidents and ensure the right preventative course of actions are implemented.
- Act as main contact for regulatory bodies, industry groups and stakeholders.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Auditing qualification in ISO 14001 or 45001 is preferable.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 AND 14001, ideally in aviation MRO sector.
- Knowledge of COMAH regulations and experience with safety management systems for hazardous sites, including safety report preparation and liaising with authorities.
- Strong Management skills, with ability to stay punctual and within budget.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire teams and conduct effective training for employees.
- Willing to travel for meetings, training and events.
- Have a desire to continuously learn and develop professionally to optimise success.
