Highways Operative (Groundworker), required to work on a local authority contract based in Felling, Gateshead starting ASAP. This is for a minimum of 2 months work with a potential for ongoing work. You will be working as a Semi-Skilled Groundworker, alongside a team of Highways Ops - installing lighting columns, digging out & reinstating.

Must have previous groundworks experience - roads, using breakers, stihl saws, etc. Plant tickets are desired but not essential. Rate is £15 phr umbrella; CIS is not an option for this contract. 39 hours per week. CV will be required for this role.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working as a groundworks labourer or Groundworker.
  • Plant tickets.
  • Manual handling.
  • Abrasive wheels.
  • Full driving licence.
