We're Hiring (Multiple Roles Available): Paralegals and/or File Handlers to join our Employers Liability, Occupiers Liability, Clinical Negligence, Credit Hire and Motor Teams in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated legal professionals to support our solicitors across a variety of cases and contribute meaningfully to our clients' success.
About Us: At DJS, we represent clients in personal injury, clinical negligence and litigation matters. We pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, professional development opportunities, and commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of files
- Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
- Dealing with matters in the County Court and the High Court
- Sending instructions and liaising with Counsel
- Conduct legal research
- Organise and manage case files, documents, and discovery materials
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and external parties
- Support our solicitors in trial preparation and administrative tasks
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in any of the following: EL/OL/Clinical Negligence/Personal Injury/Motor & Credit Hire
- Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in legal case management software such as Proclaim and Insight.
