Currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in Civil Engineering to join my clients new regional office based in Tadcaster on a permanent basis. Responsibilities: Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for civil engineering projects. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine project viability. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost control and project delivery. Monitor and manage project costs, including materials, labour, and equipment. Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes. Maintain accurate records of project costs and financial transactions. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
