As part of the Public & Government Affairs team, you will gain hands-on experience working across a broad range of sectors including energy, technology, healthcare, financial services, food & beverage and sustainability. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop core public affairs and communications skills within one of the world’s leading communications agencies.
Throughout the programme, you will work alongside experienced consultants in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment, contributing to impactful client work and learning how integrated public affairs campaigns are delivered.
Key Responsibilities- Draft briefing materials, reports and client-ready documents
- Monitor political developments, parliamentary activity and policy announcements
- Conduct research and analysis to support policy briefings, stakeholder engagement and client recommendations
- Support political engagement programmes, including stakeholder mapping and outreach coordination
- Assist with event management, including liaising with parliamentary offices, external suppliers and handling logistics
- Develop biographical profiles and policy summaries for clients and stakeholders
- Support account administration and ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time
- Contribute to ad-hoc research projects, including new business opportunities and industry analysis
- Assist with planning and coordination of internal and external events
- Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and contribute positively to team culture
- Passionate about current affairs, politics and the evolving news agenda
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks
- A collaborative team player with a positive and flexible attitude
