Daniel Christopher Jewellery are multi award winning London jewellers specialising in manufacturing the highest quality handmade bespoke diamond engagement rings and fine jewellery. Our London showroom and state-of-the-art workshop are situated in Hatton Garden, the heart of the UK jewellery industry and are in the process of opening a new shop on the South Coast.

We are looking to add to our rapidly growing team of specialised Jewellery Professionals by adding a Full Time Jewellery Sales Assistant (an ability to work Saturdays essential). Our ethos is to educate our customers and gently steer them through the potentially daunting process of creating their dream item of bespoke jewellery. Creating a relationship with customers and allowing your personality to shine through in a refined and personable way is a key skill we are looking for.

What the role consists of:

  • Meeting and greeting customers for in store face to face consultations
  • Establishing the needs of our customers in a balanced and delicate way
  • Communicating with customers, creating a rapport and going above and beyond to maintain our 5* rated customer service reviews
  • Visual merchandising in setting up window displays
  • Assisting the Store Manager as and where required in the daily running of the shop
  • Seeing customers for collections and resizes with the potential to see your own clients for wedding band consultations
  • General admin duties on an ad hoc basis

Key Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience in Luxury Sales
  • Diamond knowledge or a strong interest in the industry
  • Ideal applicants will have a diamond qualification with GIA, Gem-A, DeBeers or similar. (Preferable but not essential - we are able to sponsor you through a course if deemed necessary)
  • Excellent customer communication - strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build a rapport with your customers and convey our company values in a friendly and informative way
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
  • High level of personal presentation

Type: Full Time contract

Hours: Tuesday to Friday 9am 5.30pm, Saturdays 9am 5pm.

Salary: Competitive salary
