Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

We’re looking for a Product Lead to lead our Onboarding experiences at Wise. This role will oversee three of the most important teams in Wise: Consumer Onboarding, Account Setup, and Account Access & Recovery. Your mission is to ensure that every new customer - personal or business - can join Wise easily, securely, and with full clarity on how to get value from our products. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll work across product, engineering, design, analytics, compliance, operations and marketing to dramatically improve conversion, eliminate drop-offs, and build a world-class onboarding experience for all our customers.

You’ll report to the Onboarding & Scalable Growth Director and lead a team of talented PMs across the domain. As the onboarding experiences lead, you’ll lead multiple cross-functional product teams responsible for:

  • Driving conversion for new personal customers: ensuring customers get to their first successful transaction quickly and with confidence
  • Eliminating drop-off across flows like signup, KYC, profile creation, and pricing understanding and transaction creation.
  • Owning the entire login, account recovery, and 2FA experience - one of the most sensitive and high-contact areas in our funnel
  • Improving the UX across onboarding journeys, especially for complex or regulated flows
  • Balancing growth with security, compliance, and operational scalability

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Make global impact: You’ll shape how millions of people and businesses experience Wise for the first time — and help them understand the value we offer in the most growth oriented teams we have in Wise
  • Drive measurable outcomes: You’ll own core product metrics like conversion rate, onboarding contact ratio, and 2FA cost per user — and be responsible for improving them
  • Own the UX: You’ll need a sharp eye for UX quality and the ability to collaborate deeply with design and research to ship exceptional user journeys that can raise the bar in Wise
  • Collaborate across the org: Partner with compliance, security, operations and marketing to align on shared goals and deliver cohesive experiences
  • Build and lead a high-performing team: You’ll support 3–4 PMs and their teams, helping them prioritise ruthlessly, move quickly, and focus on outcomes
  • Act as a leader – You will build and inspire your own team, but also other teams to contribute to our mission. Inspire teams with your ideas, knowledge and self-starting attitude

Qualifications:

  • You’ve led onboarding or core conversion experiences in a fast-growing tech company, ideally with regulated or complex flows (e.g. fintech, identity, compliance)
  • You’ve owned end-to-end metrics like conversion or retention and know how to move them - not just launch features
  • You’re a UX champion with a strong product sense and attention to detail
  • You’ve led senior product managers and built strong, high-trust teams
  • You’re comfortable working across compliance, legal, ops, regional and marketing and know how to manage competing priorities
  • You’re data‑driven and outcome-oriented – you know how to define success and keep teams focused on impact
  • You can operate strategically while rolling up your sleeves when needed
  • You communicate clearly and logically – You are able to effectively frame problems to influence across the team. You are comfortable communicating with internal and external partners on challenging issues, whether in written format or at sprint planning with the team
  • You’re not afraid of being a true lead, helping your team with hiring, learning skills you don’t know today to unblock things everywhere needed. You don’t stick to a “by the book” product manager role definition. You get it done

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
