In the Experience Mission, we design Spotify’s consumer experience—end to end, moment to moment, across every screen, platform, and partner integration. Our mission is to show up wherever people are being social — across the platforms, surfaces, and moments where they’re already expressing themselves and connecting with others — and make it effortless to bring audio into those moments. This means being present in the feeds, messages, and communities where culture moves, giving listeners the tools to express who they are through what they hear, and creating the loops that turn shared content into a new connection, a new fan, or a new Spotify user.
About the team: The team sits within PPX and owns Spotify’s sharing surfaces and off-platform social presence: from the core share sheet to partner integrations, social formats, and the growth loops that bring new listeners in. You’ll work closely with platform partners, business development, feature‑owning teams and cross‑functional engineering and design teams. In this role, you’ll shape how Spotify shows up across the social platforms of today and the future. You’ll be the face of product across our social strategic partners, while owning end-to-end product execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the end-to-end vision and roadmap for how Spotify content is shared, discovered, and amplified across platforms.
- Shape the strategy for sharing, from core sharing functionality to new social formats, collaborative features, and growth loops.
- Explore how emerging platforms and evolving user behaviours influence sharing, especially across Gen Z and global audiences.
- Identify opportunities to position Spotify at the intersection of audio and social culture through new product bets.
- Define clear success metrics to understand how sharing drives acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Build strong relationships with external platform partners to unlock new integrations and experiences.
- Collaborate with Business Development and cross-functional teams to translate partnerships into meaningful product outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, data, and research, creating clarity and momentum.
- Bring forward new ideas on how AI can enhance sharing experiences, from personalisation to content creation.
Who You Are:
- You have 5+ years of product management experience working on consumer-facing products at scale.
- You understand how content spreads online and have a strong perspective on social platforms and digital culture.
- You’ve worked with external partners or platform ecosystems and can translate those relationships into product impact.
- You build trust across teams and bring people together to move complex work forward.
- You’re comfortable using data to inform decisions, including experimentation and user behaviour analysis.
- You communicate clearly and adapt your message depending on the audience.
- You have experience building or contributing to growth loops, sharing features, or social-driven products.
- You’re curious about how AI can shape future user experiences and are eager to explore its potential.
Where You’ll Be:
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the EMEA region as long as we have a work location (excluding France due to on-call restrictions). This team operates within the Central European and GMT time zone for collaboration.
