Overview

Product Application Engineer – Data Center projects across the EMEA region. You will deploy your deep technical expertise to help Danfoss shape the future of data center liquid cooling. Your work will ensure our quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies are qualified, specified, and deployed in hyperscale and multi‑tenant environments, directly influencing product strategy, engineering roadmaps, and new development priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for liquid cooling components across data‑centre architectures, including racks, manifolds, cold plates, and CDUs.
  • Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators/OEMs/ODMs, and CDU partners through regular technical reviews and onsite support.
  • Oversee product qualification by defining timelines, driving feasibility/validation testing, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and managing customer open‑item trackers.
  • Manage quotation and part‑activation workflows by coordinating with Sales, completing cost/lead‑time analysis, assigning CRNs, and ensuring accurate setup in Salesforce and SAP.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation in Teamcenter, deliver customer‑ready trainings and presentations, and translate VOC and cooling‑technology trends into product‑roadmap inputs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable track record of success within applications, product, or field engineering within data center cooling systems and thermal management.
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements—flow, pressure, materials, and connection types.
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills for technical presentations, training, and cross‑functional work.
  • Proficiency with engineering/PLM and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce.
