The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is proud to be at the forefront of driving a global transformation in digital and electric solutions that increase productivity and energy efficiency. We are truly passionate about investment and innovation, as we continue to support our customers' journey towards a greener and lower‑carbon future. We now have an opportunity to recruit a Product Application Engineer to support our Data Center projects across the EMEA region. In this role, you will be able to deploy your deep technical expertise to help Danfoss shape the future of data center liquid cooling. You will ensure our quick disconnects, hoses, and assemblies are successfully qualified, specified, and deployed in hyperscale and multi‑tenant environments. Your insights from customer programs will directly influence product strategy, engineering roadmaps, and new development priorities, strengthening Danfoss’ position as a trusted expert in fluid conveyance for next‑generation thermal management. Your work will accelerate design wins, improve system reliability, and support our mission of driving reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in data center liquid cooling.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the technical expert for liquid cooling components across data‑centre architectures, including racks, manifolds, cold plates, and CDUs.
  • Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators/OEMs/ODMs, and CDU partners through regular technical reviews and onsite support.
  • Oversee product qualification by defining timelines, driving feasibility/validation testing, coordinating cross‑functional teams, and managing customer open‑item trackers.
  • Manage quotation and part‑activation workflows by coordinating with Sales, completing cost/lead‑time analysis, assigning CRNs, and ensuring accurate setup in Salesforce and SAP.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation in Teamcenter, deliver customer‑ready trainings and presentations, and translate VOC and cooling‑technology trends into product‑roadmap inputs.

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable track record of success within applications, product, or field engineering within data center cooling systems and thermal management.
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications, engineering drawings, and system requirements—flow, pressure, materials, and connection types.
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills for technical presentations, training, and cross‑functional work.
  • Proficiency with engineering/PLM and commercial systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, and Salesforce is preferred.

What You’ll Get From Us

We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. Your well‑being matters to us. We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected and valued for who they are. You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
