Danfoss Power Solutions now has an opportunity to recruit an Application Engineer to be support our customers in United Kingdom and Ireland, in designing and optimising solutions related to propel, work, and control functions, by specifying and verifying Danfoss Power Solution products and systems.
This role can be home-based, and will involvesregional travel across customer and Danfoss sites, which may include occasionalinternational travel.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Application Engineer, you\’ll tackle technical requests and maintain contact with our customers, playing a pivotal role in applying and validating cutting-edge solutions using Danfoss Power Solutions\’ mobile hydraulic and electronic control products.
Furthermore, you will:
• Create product specifications tailored to customer needs.
• Offer application support, including hydraulic system design and sizing, to meet customer requirements.
• Engage in pre-sale activities, delivering technical presentations and training sessions.
• Develop and propose innovative proof-of-concept application software solutions (PLUS+1).
• Conduct on-site machine testing and tuning, or at our state-of-the-art Application Development Center in Nordborg, Denmark.
• Address daily inquiries and tasks to meet customers\’ technical needs efficiently.
• Lead customer projects, facilitating communication between internal and customers stakeholders.
• Share insights on current and future technical trends in the mobile market with the team and other stakeholders, ensuring the customer\’s voice is heard.
What We\’re Looking For
As our new Application Engineer, you demonstrate:
• BSc, Master\’s degree, or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong analytical approach to hydraulics, electronics, and/or application control systems
• Outgoing, proactive personailty who excels in communication, both with customers and internal stakeholders
• Dedicated to self-development andeager to learn, and open to new ideas and improvements
• A team-player attitude, and the right mindset of self-motivation as well as a well-structured way of working method.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Advantageous would be:
• Experience or knowledge in application engineering, especially in mobile off-road applications.
• Familiarity with application control systems, CAN bus communication, hydraulic systems, and analysis.
