The Role:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure Barton Manor has a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. You will oversee the maintenance and safety of the home, ensuring all aspects of the building and grounds are well kept, ensuring service delivery is unaffected. Health and safety will be your priority, and you will ensure the highest standards are delivered at all times according to legislative guidelines.
You will undertake a variety of tasks including decorating, carpentry, plumbing, etc., to ensure safe environments within the home are maintained. You will also be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and safety audits are completed as per required schedules and any areas of concern are highlighted to the Home Manager.
You will understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the homes, including HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, and ensure all staff understand and adhere to the health and safety policies and procedures within the home.
Hours of work:
Hours of work will be 09.00 to 17.00, Monday to Friday (40 hours in total) but an element of flexibility will be required at times in order to meet the changing needs of the business.
