Join the Team at Daneswood Care Home in Shipham, Somerset as a Waking Night Support Worker. This is a full-time role available (37 hrs) with a salary ranging from £27,000 - £29,000 plus performance bonus, health care cash plan, refer a friend scheme, and more.
At Daneswood Care Home, we provide specialist care and support for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our caring night team.
Your Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care and overnight routines
- Carrying out regular wellbeing checks
- Supporting residents who may wake during the night
- Maintaining a calm, safe and reassuring environment
- Completing accurate records and handovers
Shift Pattern for a 2 week rolling rota
Week 1:
- Monday 21:30-07:30
- Tuesday 21:30-07:30
- Friday 21:30-08:30
- Saturday 20:30-08:30
- Sunday 20:30-07:30
Week 2:
- Wednesday 21:30-07:30
- Thursday 21:30-07:30
