Join the Team at Daneswood Care Home in Shipham, Somerset as a Waking Night Support Worker. This is a full-time role (37 hrs) with a salary ranging from £27,000 - £29,000 plus performance bonus, health care cash plan, refer a friend scheme and more.

At Daneswood Care Home, we provide specialist care and support for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a warm, friendly and supportive environment. We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our caring night team.

Your Role:

  • Providing high-quality care and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care and overnight routines
  • Carrying out regular wellbeing checks
  • Supporting residents who may wake during the night
  • Maintaining a calm, safe and reassuring environment
  • Completing accurate records and handovers

Shift Pattern for a 2 week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday 21:30-07:30, Tuesday 21:30-07:30, Friday 21:30-08:30, Saturday 20:30-08:30, Sunday 20:30-07:30
  • Week 2: Wednesday 21:30-07:30, Thursday 21:30-07:30
