At Daneswood, we’re looking for a Team Leader to help deliver a needs-led, person-centred service for adults with a learning disability supporting people to build independence, grow in confidence, and have the best quality of life possible. This is a brilliant role for someone who wants to blend hands-on support with leadership, and who takes pride in doing things the right way.
The role
You will support the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring staff deliver consistent, high-quality support aligned to individual care plans and person-centred goals. You will help embed best practice, promote a positive performance culture, and maintain robust standards in safeguarding, medication management, and governance.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership and strong management across shifts
- Drive a consistent, person-centred approach supporting planning, reviews, transitions, and multi-disciplinary working to maximise quality of life.
- Maintain strong compliance and quality standards, including safeguarding, risk assessment actions, information governance, and adherence to policies, legislation, and relevant codes of practice.
- Oversee key operational controls, including medication stock/inventory processes, accurate record-keeping, and effective reporting on performance and service objectives.
- Support the team through coaching, supervision, team communication, and ensuring training is embedded in practice.
