Our warehouse operatives are integral in delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

In your role will need to receive, pick and pack products at pace, while simultaneously delivering a right first-time mentality.

Warehouse operatives require great attention to detail to ensure an accurate inventory.

Some physical strength and manual handling is required as products will be lifted by hand.

All training will be provided.

Our warehouse operatives are integral in delivering excellent customer satisfaction.

In your role will need to receive, pick and pack products at pace, while simultaneously delivering a right first-time mentality.

Warehouse operatives require great attention to detail to ensure an accurate inventory.

Some physical strength and manual handling is required as products will be lifted by hand.

All training will be provided.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks

  • Receiving and Storing Products – Unload deliveries from suppliers using manual handling equipment (forklifts and pump trucks).
  • Storing Goods – Check goods against delivery notes for accuracy and report discrepancies.
  • Order Picking – Accurately pick items from shelves based on jobs via a handheld scanner/voice unit.
  • Packing Orders – Accurately packing items securely to ensure excellent customer quality.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsibility and Accountability – Takes ownership of tasks and outcomes, learns from mistakes and ensures work is completed accurately and on time.
  • Communication Skills – Clearly communicates with team members and team leaders, listens and responds constructively and shares important information promptly.
  • Initiative – Proactively identifies and solves problems and suggests improvements to processes or safety.
  • Adaptability - Handles change in workload or priorities calmly, learns new systems of processes quickly.
  • Attention to Detail – Ensures accuracy in picking, packing and stocktaking.
  • Positive Attitude – Maintains a can-do mindset, motivates others through encouragement and helps create a productive and respectful work environment.
  • To actively support the supervisory team and ensure jobs are completed on time daily, as per picking schedule whilst maintaining quality expectations and health and safety protocols.

The ability to follow SOPs with relevant risk assessments to carryout daily tasks, any variation to be reported immediately for review.

  • Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered materials meet quality standards.
  • Load and unload products.
  • Organise stock in the most efficient way.
  • Receive and check incoming goods.
  • Pick material to fulfil orders correctly.
  • Pack and wrap orders to customer specifications.
  • Replenish materials and any stock movements.
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or RDT devices (desirable).
  • Organisational skills.
  • Availability to work occasional overtime.
  • Use of PC for creating paperwork/stock enquiries.
