About the Role
Are you passionate about sport, physical activity and inspiring young people to lead healthy, active lives? Danesfield Middle School is on an exciting journey of rapid improvement, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 (Years 5–8), working with pupils at a crucial stage in their development. We are looking for someone who will not only deliver high-quality PE lessons, but also play a key role in developing our extra-curricular sport offer. A willingness to lead clubs, organise fixtures, and promote participation for all pupils is essential.
You will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons across Years 5–8
- Inspire confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity
- Lead sports clubs and support a broad extra-curricular programme
- Organise and contribute to fixtures and competitive opportunities
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent sports coaching/teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE and school sport
