We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our team for 4 sessions per week (Thursdays & Fridays). This role offers a balanced working week with opportunities to focus on clinical care while participating in teaching activities if desired.
Main duties of the job
- Provide comprehensive care to our diverse patient population
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage clinical correspondence
- Prescribe safely in accordance with our practice formulary
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records
- Support and mentor medical students as part of their clinical experience
You will work collaboratively with the wider team and make professional, autonomous decisions in patient care.

Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery is a friendly, supportive practice serving patients across two sites in Cardiff. Our team of clinicians and support staff work closely to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. We also support medical students, offering opportunities for observation and learning.
Terms
- Hours: 4 sessions/week Thursdays & Fridays
- Contract: 12 month with option for permanent position thereafter
- Employer: Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery (not Cardiff & Vale UHB)

- Fully GMC registered with licence to practise
- Inclusion on the Cardiff & Vale UHB GP Performers List
- Membership of medical indemnity cover organisation

- A Full UK Driving Licence
- MRCGP qualification or equivalent
- Experience with EMIS Web or other primary care IT systems
- Interest in clinical audit, service improvement or long-term condition management
