Danesco is seeking experienced executives who possess significant M&A experience, together with in-depth industry knowledge (IT services, distribution, manufacturing, HR staffing & recruitment) to lead and manage client projects. The individual should possess strong project and client management skills together with a demonstrable track record of business development and the gravitas to present and lead Danesco’s CDaaS offering to mid-market and enterprise corporations. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to nurture, develop and manage c-suite client relationships over an extended period while managing multiple client engagements at any one time. Demonstrable strategic management skills and knowledge would be highly desirable, along with a mature professional network.

The role encompasses end-to-end market exploration, identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities through to successful execution, requiring strong sector insight, commercial judgment, and the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable transactions that support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively build and maintain a high-quality acquisition pipeline aligned with US growth strategy, working closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Sector mapping, target identification & engagement together with preliminary evaluation & due diligence.
  • Assist in negotiating letters of intent, purchase agreements (SPA, APA), and ancillary documents in collaboration with senior management and advisers.
  • Support negotiation strategies alongside senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external due diligence across legal, finance, property, and operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of transaction documentation.
  • Proactively source off-market acquisition opportunities through direct outreach and strategic campaigns.
  • Take full ownership of the industry vertical, responsible for end-to-end strategic planning, market insight & collateral publications and business development.
  • Expert in financial modelling, valuations, and assessments of acquisitions' strategic fit and synergy realisation.
  • Evaluate fundamentals, financial performance, and sector KPIs.
  • Track emerging operators and identify potential consolidation opportunities.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Demonstrable track record in buy-and-build engagements.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deals Advisory, Private Equity support, or Corporate Development.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation analysis skills.
  • Proven track record in supporting or leading transaction processes.
  • Professional qualifications such as MBA, CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation negotiation (e.g., SPA/APA, disclosure schedules, leases).
  • Industry expertise an advantage.
