Danescor maintains an ongoing initiative aimed at identifying and recruiting high calibre, ambitious, and team-oriented professionals. We are actively looking for Directors and Senior Vice Presidents who possess a demonstrable track record of M&A, business development and team performance management within US, UK, and European markets. Successful candidates will have the skills and expertise to lead and manage client teams, projects, sectors and strategic initiatives. The role requires the ability to manage professional services teams and resources as well as project managing multiple transactions simultaneously. Strong industry knowledge and expertise is required.
Role and responsibilities
- Clear demonstrable track-record of winning business and securing clients along with successful PNL management, including forecasting and business plan ownership.
- Gravitas and experience to mentor and strategically manage performance of other teams.
- Ability to lead and manage Company strategic initiatives ensuring the Company’s strategic goals are met.
- Leadership role for Danescor’s White Label offering, GTMs, business plan forecast and execution.
- Resource planning in terms of resource hiring and individual performance management of professionals who are directly and indirectly managed.
- Ability to perform leadership role in marketing (trade shows, etc.), business development and strategic partnerships.
- Project management of corporate finance client transactions – acquisition, sale, fund raise covering:
- Project preparation – transaction strategy, buyer & target universe, documentation.
- Marketing – counterparty campaign management and negotiation.
- Closing – LOI/HOTs agreement, project management of due diligence (VDR) and completion.
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Clear ability to be or become a leader within specific markets and industries.
- Ability to manage professional service teams and resources in different geographies and ensure project deadlines and targets are achieved.
- Managerial and leadership skills within a professional services environment.
Skills & Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, ideally with Masters (MBA or similar) and/or professional qualification (CA, CFA, etc.).
- Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience.
- Ambitious self-starter.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Comfortable in an agile, fast-moving global environment with a can-do attitude.
- Results orientated with a focus on attention to detail.
- Not essential but preferred industry experience: Distribution, Industrial technology, Business services (recruitment, IFAs, etc.), Healthcare, Consulting, consumer, e-commerce.
